Tastee “veggie patty” a choice for vegetarians

The Tastee veggie patty hit the market in 2004, and has continued to be a big seller for the leading patty makers.

The Tastee veggie-patty was first introduced at the Jamaica Observer Table Talk awards in 2004, long before any other patty maker even gave this specialized product a thought.

But even before the veggie patty, Tastee first tested the market with the veggie loaf. This saw the soybean used with mixed vegetable including green peas, corn and carrots. Its success led to the introduction of the veggie patty as customers began to request the Tastee crust wrapped around the soybean and mixed vegetables.

Now customers have the choice of both the Tastee veggie patty for those who want a touch of sweet offered in the Tastee patty crust, or the Tastee veggie loaf, for those who love the soft, hot, freshly baked coco bread taste.
